Removing machine dust by Exair 120022 2" Aluminium Super Air Amplifier

Company manufactures welded tubing. Shavings are building up at the cutoff operation causing missed locations and tubes cut off to wrong length. Using the Model 1100 Super Air Nozzle to direct the shavings towards the  Model 120022 2"(51mm) Super Air Amplifier, the cut off area was vacuumed clear so the next part could be located properly. This eliminated short pieces.

When we recommend an Atomizing Nozzle for a particular application, we try to obtain as much general information as possible about the application, such as:

What type of spray pattern do you need?
How wide of an area needs to be covered?
What kind of flow rate needs to be achieved?
Is the liquid source pressurized?
What is the viscosity of the liquid?
While all of this information is going to help simplify the selection process, when we get a reply that the liquid isn’t pressurized, the choice becomes a little less complicated.

Exair Siphon Fed Atomizing Nozzles are the preferred solution in applications where a pressurized liquid source isn’t available. With a steady supply of compressed air, these nozzles are able to draw the liquid into the nozzle with suction heights up to 36″ for our 1/8″ NPT and 1/4″ NPT nozzles, and up to 24″ for our larger 1/2″ NPT Models. They can also be gravity fed as well.

These nozzles mix the fluid internally and are capable of handling viscosity up to 200 centipoise. Depending on the size of the nozzle and supply air pressure, flow rates can range from 0.4 GPH up to 60 GPH with either a round or flat fan spray pattern. There is also an adjusting valve for more or less liquid flow as needed to fit the demand of the application.

Exair also offers these nozzles with the patented No Drip feature which positively stops the liquid flow when the supply air pressure drops below 30 PSIG, eliminating the need for any additional valves or supply lines.

2" Heavy Duty Line Vac Kit Circulates Sand and Rock Material

A manufacturer of vibratory separators built a small scale machine for display purposes and needed to move small gravel and sand at a rate of about 5 pounds per minute up a vertical height of 6 feet. This was to recirculate the material that they were showcasing.

 The solution was to use Model 152200 2" (51mm) Heavy Duty Line Vac Kit to pick up the material from the bottom of the collection bin and convey it back to the hopper on the top of the machine.

360 Degree Static Eliminator is CE, UL and RoHS Certified

EXAIR's new Gen4 Super Ion Air Wipe provides a uniform 360 degree ionized air  stream that clamps around a continuously moving part to eliminate static electricity and contaminants. Chip Trapper - Filter the chips out of your used coolant and cutting oils!

The Exair Chip Trapper offers a fast, easy way to clean chips, swarf and shavings out of used coolants and other liquids. The Chip Trapper vacuums the coolant or liquid that is filled with debris and traps all the solids in a reusable filter bag. Only the liquid pumps back out. It is ideal for use on machines with sumps, parts washers, tanks and storage containers of contaminated liquids.

The Chip Trapper uses EXAIR’s compressed air powered Reversible Drum Vac (included) that can fill or empty a 55 gallon drum in less than two minutes. Simply set the Reversible Drum Vac pump and directional flow control valve on top of the drum to “fill” for it to quickly vacuum the liquid with solids. Once the sump, pit or tank is empty, set the pump and directional valve to “empty” for it to pump out clean coolant/liquid. All the chips and other solids are trapped inside the reusable filter bag of the Chip Trapper.

Chips can accumulate in the sump, restricting coolant flow.

EXAIR's Drum Cover Keeps Bulk Material Contained and Free of Contaminants

EXAIR’s new fine mesh non-woven drum cover is designed for use on 55 or 30 gallon drums. The breathable material allows the air from an EXAIR Line Vac, air operated conveyor, to circulate whether moving material in or out of a drum. The drum cover prevents contamination of your material and keeps material contained in the drum for a cleaner and safer work environment. Since it is fabricated to fit 55 or 30 gallon drums, it is the simplest of solutions when needing a containment vessel for your transferred scrap, trim waste, parts, chips or pellets. It is suitable for conveyance hoses from ¾ inch (19.1mm) up through a 3.4 inches (86.4mm) outside diameter.
Line Vac conveyors are the low-cost way to transport complex shapes, bulk solids and waste - with no moving parts or electricity.  Units eject a small amount of compressed air to produce a vacuum on one end and high output flows on the other with instantaneous response.  Air speed is easily controlled by regulating inlet air pressure.

Line Vacs are available in aluminum, Type 303SS, Type 316SS and hardened alloy to resist abrasion in sizes from 3/8 inch (10mm) through 5 inches (127mm). They come in styles for use with hose, threaded NPT for use with pipe and a sanitary flange model for use with flanged pipe. The drum cover comes complete with hose clamps and a durable spring buckle strap for quick and easy installation.
